A series of short plays. In the Summer of 2018, Jessica directed Anton Chekhov’s THE BOOR, set in the Wild West. She also starred in Strindberg’s THE STRONGER as directed by Monica Blaze Leavitt. For the closing three performances (of 12) she stepped into the role of ‘Natalya’ in THE PROPOSAL, as directed by Jane Culley. Jessica played ‘Ali’ – the wife to a lawyer in a tough situation dealing with sex trafficking. Presented by Ripple Effect Artists in two productions. First – set in US & Mexico, an un-released version of Kooman’s published script. Performed at Times Sq.’s Elektra Theatre (300 W. 43rd St., 2nd Fl.) January 18th, 25th, and Feb 1st, 2017. Second – Directed by Tony nominee Jana Robbins, re-staged in NY/LA and played at American Theatre of Actors for 2 weeks from October -November of 2017.
